Saturday, February 25, 2017. French Lace Adorns Guest Design Team Project for Crafty Me Shop. I had a wonderful opportunity to be a guest designer for the Crafty Me Shop on Facebook. There is a video at my YouTube channel that shows all the gorgeous French laces and trims that were sent to me to make what ever I wanted. Laces were trimmed to create a cameo around the portrait. A large jeweled trim of rhinestones and pearls accents the French lace across the front. Monday, January 23, 2017.

Friday, April 12, 2013. I love making backgrounds! Sometimes I spend whole art days doing just that! My latest play at that was using watercolors, lots of water, and salt for some really fun effects. These two I used rock salt. The rest were just regular table salt. So fun because you never know for sure what the end results will be. Pretty cool, huh? .

Monday, May 9, 2011. Sorry I was gone so long. Here are some ATCs I created for a swap at ATCs for All. This card is a vintage image that I tinted with colored pencils. I added some acrylic pearlizing. This is a photo of broken glass atop a wall in Mexico. I used diamond dust and white glitter to make the glass shine.

Sunday, June 7, 2015. Last year I made several Travelers Notebooks using a masking technique. I knew the technique very well from my art journaling and since I hadnt seen anyone use this on leather I thought I would give it a go. The masking technique worked fabulous and I bought a silhouette portrait to explore the possibilities of this further.
